Japanese PlayStation Network restored
Global service completely back this week.
The Japanese PlayStation Network will finally be fully restored this week on Wednesday, 6th July.
The PSN-resurrection book is now at long last closed - Japan was the last territory Sony had to restore.
But why Japan's PlayStation Network restoration took a month longer than in Europe and America is a question that remains unanswered. Regional newspapers claim Japanese government and credit card companies made strict security demands, according Andriasang.
Sony restored the European, American and some Asian PlayStation Network services at the start of June. Hong Kong and South Korea followed in mid-June.
Online gaming capabilities returned to each territory earlier - the PlayStation Store was the last Network function to be restored.
