I Am Alive dev announces Black Death
Darkworks readies survival horror FPS.
French developer Darkworks has gone public with Black Death, a horror FPS for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
According to the game's official site, it's set in an east coast US city that has been consumed by a mysterious chemical fog turning its inhabitants into - yes, you guessed it - sociopathic mutants.
You'll have to try and stay alive while ridding the city of its disfigured, murderous population.
A few neat gameplay quirks are promised, including the ability to control the fog, create your own chemical weapons and decide whether you kill or cure the infected.
No publisher appears to be attached at present but there's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it teaser trailer below.
Darkworks was the original developer behind M.I.A. Ubisoft adventure I Am Alive. Its CV also includes PlayStation 2 actioner Cold Fear and Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare on PC, PSone and Dreamcast.
