How to start The Curse of Uchitsune in Ghost of Tsushima
The Curse of Uchitsune is also available early on in Act 1 of Ghost of Tsushima. It's in central-eastern Izuhara.
This one's easy to find: Yamato the musician is in the settlement of Hiyoshi Springs, which you visit early on in the story.
The Curse of Uchitsune: Blue flower locations and how to use the paintings
First up, chat with the musician - here are all the Mythic Tale locations for starting out, if you're struggling to find him.
Then once the mission starts, you'll be tasked with heading to the east coast of Hidden Springs Forest.
The flowers are in the middle of the marked area, as you approach the coast. Look out for a fairly large rock formation.
Drop down into the trench that approaches that mound of rocks, and there's a gap to squeeze through.
Inside, you'll find a few things to interact with, one of them being a painting, which you need to use as a makeshift map. Once you've got everything, turn around and squeeze out a gap towards the way you came, and there's a brief cutscene.
Now, you need to head north. The location you're after is here on the map.
Here's what it looks like as you approach by land - head down to the beach and it's just a short swim.
Inside, it's the same again - including another painting - and here's where you need to head on the map.
You'll find the blue flowers again here.
Follow them into the clearing and grab the bow from the altar - and prepare for a fight!

How to beat the Tengu Demon in Ghost of Tsushima's The Curse of Uchitsune and get the longbow and explosive arrows
That's right, it's another duel, this time against someone - or something - called the Tengu Demon.
Fear not however, as it's as straightforward a fight as ever, so the usual duel rules apply. If you need a refresher, our standard duel tips are:
- Stay in stone stance as you're facing a swordsman.
- Heal when you get the little boost in resolve, during those tense sword-clashing pauses.
- Keep sidestepping, as it's easy to land hits when you get around the side of your enemy.
- Attack when your enemy sheathes their sword - it's a free couple of hits, and if you don't they'll launch a very fast unblockable attack.
After the duel, the longbow of Uchitsune is yours - congrats!
