Gears 5 Xbox One X Limited Edition bundle announced

With the release of Gears 5 just a month away, Microsoft has revealed a Gears 5 Xbox One X Limited Edition bundle featuring a chilly rendition of the iconic Crimson Omen on the console and a metallic effect controller.

That's not all, though. As you would expect, the Gears 5 Xbox One X Limited Edition bundle also comes with a copy of the Gears 5 Ultimate Edition as well as digital codes for all previous entries in the Gears of War series. It's one heck of a conclusive collector's item, then!

The whole package is available to pre-order for £449.99 from a handful of retailers if you want to show your dedication to the gruff, chainsaw-loving shooter series.

Items from the exclusive bundle and a handful of other Gears 5-themed accessories will also be released separately. Say, you just want to pick up the Kait Diaz Limited Edition of the Xbox One Controller? Well, you can do just that too for £64.99 at Amazon UK, GAME and the Microsoft Store. As for the US, you can get the controller from the Microsoft Store or Best Buy. There's even a matching Gears 5 Limited Edition Charging Stand, but that only appears to be available in the US right now.

Also comes with the Ice Kait Character Skin.

The Seagate Gears 5 Special Edition 2TB Game Drive also appears to be another US-exclusive item for now. Never fret, though, we've got a list of the best Xbox One external hard drives over at Jelly Deals should you need something else to do the job just as well. Albeit, with slightly less flair.

PC players aren't left out with the Gears 5 goodies, either. In partnership with Razer, an Xbox One compatible wireless mouse and keyboard will also launch alongside the game in September.
