Fortnite - Spy Probes locations: Where to place Spy Probes in Fortnite explained

Place Spy Probes is the sixth and final of Week 9's legendary quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.
Such as the past few weeks, the first quest in this set involves using one of the payphones across the Fortnite map, and it's followed with the task to equip a Detector, then disable an Alien Billboard in one match, as well as collect resources in Holly Hatchery, eliminate Trespassers and place a Bioscanner in an Alien Biome.
This is a rather straightforward challenge, but the exact spots are somewhat scattered all over the map. Thankfully, you only need to place Spy Probes a total of three times, so it won't take you long with our guide after knowing exactly where to go.
Completing this challenge will reward you with 30k XP, which will help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 battle pass.
Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.
Where to place Spy Probes in Fortnite explained
There is a total of eight different spots scattered around the western and southern edges of the Fortnite map. Remember, you only need to place three Spy Probes, so you can take your pick depending on where you choose to land from the battle bus.
You can find the locations at a glance below:
The first is located southeast of Defiant Fish, which is the IO Base where Rick Sanchez is located.
There's another one northeast of Hydro 16, just at the side of the road before stepping onto the bridge.
If you close that bridge heading south, you'll see another spot next to the facility with the vending machine. It's just before the cliff on the elevated terrain at the right side of it.
Lastly, there is a third spot on the southern house of the area. You can place a Bioscanner on the other side of the backyard fence on the right side of the house.
Keep heading south to stumble upon another spot on the left side of the big house next to the icy terrain on the map.
If you happen to be near Weeping Woods, you can find a place to deploy a probe next to a boulder, southwest of the two houses in the centre and northeast of the bridge.
There is another one east of the factory that is southeast of Slurpy Swamp, overlooking the factory itself.
Lastly, there is a another spot on Flopper Pond, slightly south of the pond itself.
That should be all! While there are plenty of options, remember that you only need to place three Spy Probes, so just head towards to the closest spots to finish this promptly.
