Formula E field coming to Forza Motorsport 6
Full car list being drip-fed weekly up to launch.
Turn 10 and Microsoft are slowly revealing the full car list for the forthcoming Forza Motorsport 6, bolstering the 117 announced at E3 with a further 37, a batch headed up by the entire Formula E field that competed in this year's inaugural season of the new one-make championship.
The Spark-Renault SRT_01E already featured in Forza Motorsport 5, but it'll be available in the next game in all the team liveries - including that of Nelson Piquet, who grabbed the title after a thrilling season finale in Battersea Park on Sunday. I was there for Saturday's race which was slightly less eventful, but I did get to see Alain Prost dance and a drunk man shout at Richard Branson about his internet connection being down for a week so I guess I'm the real winner.
Turn 10 and Microsoft are going to be releasing weekly updates about the car list up until Forza Motorsport 6's launch on September 18th, by which point the 450 or so cars will all be fully revealed. Forza Motorsport 6's other headline additions this year include night racing and wet weather - both firsts for the series.
