Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon sequel possible, says Michael Biehn
Voice actor also weighs in on Aliens: Colonial Marines role.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon voice actor and Eighties film legend Michael Biehn has hinted that a sequel to the bonkers downloadable shooter may be on the cards.
Blood Dragon's creative director Dean Evans recently spoke with Biehn and mentioned plans for another spin-off.
"[Evans] was with me on the phone last night. He was pretty jacked up," Biehn explained on the Major Nelson podcast (thanks, IGN).
"He was going into a meeting today to, you know, I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He's got a sequel in mind."
Biehn estimated he had been contacted by "around a hundred" Blood Dragon fans since the game's launch last week.
Not owning a console himself, the voice actor has been convinced to buy one so he can see the game in action.
Biehn compared the warm response from Blood Dragon fans to that of his previous video game project - the poorly received Aliens: Colonial Marines (Biehn played Corporal Dwayne Hicks).
"I did an Aliens game last year that nobody really talked about very much," he puzzled. "I never really heard too much about it.
"I heard when it came out. Nobody ever came up to me afterwards and said 'Oh, that Aliens game was really good', or whatever."
