EU PlayStation Store update 24th August

This week's EU PlayStation Store brings the first title in Sony's PlayStation Network Play promotion - Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.

A buffed up port of the Arcade classic, 3rd Strike offers HD graphics, trophies and YouTube posting for replays. It launched yesterday on Xbox Live Arcade, although PSN Play grants gamers immediate access to an unlockable fighter, Gill.

Eurogamer's Simon Parkin punched in a 9/10 score for our Street Fighter III: Third Strike review: "Few video games have been competitively relevant for as long as Third Strike," he wrote. "And this tight, assured release will only increase its longevity."

Also out this week? Arcade American football action in 7/10 scoring Backbreaker: Vengeance, while the original Dead Space turns up for download priced £15.99.

Get a taste of this year's Pro Evo with a new PES 2012 demo. The single-player trial of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine also shows up - it arrived last night on Xbox Live for Gold subscribers.
