Espgaluda 2 HD announced
Cave's classic updated for iPad 2.
Maniac bullet hell classic Espgaluda 2 gets an iPad 2-exclusive HD revision this Autumn, developer Cave has announced.
According to Edge, although most of the game's visuals have been remastered in HD, backgrounds remain in standard definition.
The game will be available in three different versions: a note-for-note recreation of the original arcade machine, a touch control-enabled smartphone version and the full download containing both modes. No word yet on how much they'll each cost.
Take a look at the new trailer below to see it running on Apple's tablet.
The original iOS release is also being split into three and getting updated with new music.
Cave's game pummeled a 9/10 out of Eurogamer's Mark Brown when it launched last year. His Espgaluda 2 review has the details.
