Elden Ring Mimic Tear location
How to get one of the game's best ashes.
The Elden Ring Mimic Tear is one of the more unique summons in the game.
What's immediately different is that summoning Mimic Tear doesn't cost FP but rather your HP.
This is because you essentially get a clone of yourself - making this one of the best summons you can get.
Understandably you might want to track this down as possible - with this page explaining where to find the Mimic Tear location.
How to get the Mimic Tear in Elden Ring
Getting these ashes is no mean feat - you'll need to be able to reach Nokron, which is done by defeating Starscourge Radhan, which you may also be doing as part of the Ranni quest.
Once you're in Nokron, you'll also have to first fight Mimic Tear as a boss. An easy way to win this fight is to remove all your gear before initiating the fight and then re-equipping everything once it's begun.
After this fight, cross the aqueduct and then turn left and look for the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace.
This should have you looking out over some buildings that lead further down.
Jump down and follow the ledges around, taking care of some blobby Silver Tears that will transform into humanoid enemies.
As you continue heading down you'll be in an area called Night's Sacred Ground. Don't drop down to ground level yet, but instead, cross over an archway and drop into a chapel with an altar.
Head past that and there's a doorway that leads down a corridor with a room at the end that will need a Swordstone Key to enter.
Inside is an enemy but their back is turned to you, so make quick work of them and then open the chest in front to get the Mimic Tear ashes.
Enjoy using your new summon!
