DJ Hero 2 leads PSN Store dash

A DJ Hero 2 demo is the most interesting piece of content added to the PlayStation Store today. Will the full game be any good? Should be, the first one was. Does anyone care? Can't say, but this could be the last attempt if the answer is no.

You'll also notice that Activision has cut the price of the Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence and Stimulus DLC in half for a limited amount of time. The deal expires on 12th October. Hold on, that's just three days before the new Medal of Honor game arrives from EA - what a coincidence!

Sony's also laid out October and November for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Free game offerings include Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Critter Crunch, and there are notable discounts for Trine (half-price) Penny Arcade Adventures (buy one episode, get the other free).

This week marked the first birthday of PlayStation minis. They haven't taken off like the App Store did, but Sony's in the mood to celebrate nonetheless; cue the buy-one-win-10 promotion.

There are fresh batch of songs and an update for the SingStore, too. The Play SingStar menu has been "rejigged", gameplay modes renamed and various screens updated. More on that on the European PlayStation blog.

There's no post explaining this week's Digital Comics Store additions, but there will be one eventually.
