Capcom gives first look at Dragon's Dogma 2
UPDATE: Fresh details from the Capcom Showcase.
UPDATE 12/06/2023: At tonight's Capcom Showcase, some further details on Dragon's Dogma 2 were revealed.
The game's director Hideaki Itsuno stated the game will be single-player but with up to three AI controlled Pawns, and it will feature action and role-playing mechanics in an open world. So, it'll play like the first.
That said, the AI of Pawns has been updated so they're more sophisticated and are capable of more precise decisions during battle. They can also give you a high-five after a successful encounter.
Dragon's Dogma 2 has been built with the RE Engine and its world will be roughly four times the size of the original. Further, the game will employ immersive physics with which to manipulate both the environment and enemies - breaking bridges, or pulling a monster's leg. No, not in a funny way.
Lastly, the game's key art features two characters pivotal to the story: Ulrika, a bow wielder with a deep connection to the Arisen (the player character), and Nadinia, a high priestess of the new race the beastren.

ORIGINAL 24/5/23: Dragon's Dogma 2 was revealed at tonight's Sony PlayStation Showcase.
Though no release date was given, an in-game trailer gave a glimpse of gameplay - and dragons of course.
Capcom revealed the game was in development last year, but this trailer was our first look.
As with the first game, it looks to be a fantasy epic full of spells and swords and plenty of mythical creatures.
The original featured an innovative Pawn companion system, which is set to return.
Dragon's Dogma 2 will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
