Banjo-Tooie is coming to Nintendo Switch later this month
Jig with joy.
Rare's much-loved Banjo Kazooie sequel, Banjo-Tooie, is coming to Nintendo Switch later this month.
The Nintendo 64 classic will join the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library on 25th October.
"Banjo-Tooie is now coming to the Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online collection of games!" Nintendo teased.
"It's the bear-bird duo Banjo and Kazooie to the rescue! Magical minigames, perplexing puzzles, and freaky foes await them in the stages ahead – through ancient ruins, underwater realms, and even an amusement park of sorts."
Nintendo Switch Online - Nintendo's subscription service - launched back in 2018. Though it marks the first time Nintendo has locked the ability to play multiplayer games online behind a paid service, Nintendo has thrown in a wealth of additional perks like cloud saves, game trials, and exclusive money-saving offers to sweeten the deal. Here are all Nintendo Switch Online games available to play right now.
As we recently reported, Nintendo is requesting participants in its secretive Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program to not disclose details of a new Switch Online feature.
This, of course, drew plenty of attention and excitement - so much so that the playtest application reached its 10,000-person capacity within a minute of going live.
