Backbreaker Vengeance XBLA release date
Out on PSN "later this summer".
American Football game Backbreaker Vengeance launches on Xbox Live Arcade on 29th June, 505 Games has announced.
A PlayStation Network release is planned for "later this summer" - or "a few weeks later" in PAL territories.
Backbreaker launched on home consoles last year to disappointing reviews. Eurogamer's Backbreaker review threw a 4/10.
Vengeance is based on the Tackle Alley mini-game that was a part of the first game. It's powered by the Euphoria engine, created by Oxford-based software company NaturalMotion and used by Rockstar in Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption.
"Backbreaker Vengeance is the perfect summer game and a great addition to the wildly successful Backbreaker franchise," 505 Games North America boss Ian Howe said.
"Building on the instantly gratifying fun of Tackle Alley with new modes and moves, and with hundreds of intense levels, Backbreaker Vengeance is the total package for anyone who wants to jump into a game for a few minutes or a few hours."
