Metroid Prime sequel?
Nintendo approved
Retro Studios are planning the sequel to Metroid Prime. That's the latest word from the Texas-based developer, whose executives have told employees that Nintendo has approved the project, according to reports.
The only detail to make its way out of Retro so far is that a multiplayer mode is being considered.
Nintendo/Retro refused to pass official comment, release date speculation is pointless, blah blah. At the moment, the word comes courtesy of IGN's sources, but it's promising nonetheless.
Metroid Prime is finally released in the UK and Europe on March 21st.
Oh, and since it's Friday, if anyone has any suggestions for the potential sequel's title, we'd love to hear them.
