Among the Sleep to snooze past Q4, now due in "early spring 2014"
Crawls to completion.
Spooky first-person toddler game Among the Sleep is now shooting for an "early spring 2014" release on PC, Mac and Linux according to developer Krillbite Studios.
Originally Krillbite was aiming for a December release of its horror affair starring a two-year-old boy, but it looks like it'll be fashionably late. According to a backer-only update (via Polygon), the developer is working on "streamlining the game overall, adding detail, implementing voiceovers, localisation, optimising the Oculus Rift implementation, improving menu & GUI, and lots'n lots of testing and bug fixing."
Krillbite has been kicking Among the Sleep around since spring 2012, though it only went to Kickstarter this April where it earned $248K. EG-contributor Jon Denton took a look at Among the Sleep in July 2012 where he called it "another stirring indictment of an indie PC scene that's proving a fountain of creativity and progression in an industry that seems intent on eating itself" in his preview.
