Alien: Isolation leads 2015 BAFTA Game Awards nominations

The brilliant, British-made Alien: Isolation has scooped six nominations for this year's BAFTA Game Awards - more than any other title.

Creative Assembly's claustrophic sci-fi creepfest is up for Best Game, British Game, Game Design, Game Innovation, Music and Audio Achievement awards.

Also up for Best Game are Destiny, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mario Kart 8, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and mobile puzzler Monument Valley.

Far Cry 4 is the joint second-most nominated title, with nods for Artistic Achievement, Game Design, Music, Story and Performer.

Monument Valley also managed five nominations - for Artistic Achievement, Best Game, British Game, Mobile/Handheld and Original Property.

Kevin Spacey is nominated in the Performance category for his role in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, alongside Ashley Johnson (Ellie) in The Last of Us: Left Behind, Logan Cunningham (Transistor) in Transistor, Melissa Hutchinson (Clementine) in The Walking Dead: Season 2, Troy Baker (Pagan Min) in Far Cry 4 and Adam Harrington, aka Bigby Wolf in The Wolf Among Us.

The awards are set to be held on Thursday, 12th March at London's Tobacco Dock (tying into the first day of EGX Rezzed), and streamed live online via Twitch.

Actor and comedian Rufus Hound will present the show for the first time, taking over from long-time host Dara Ó Briain.
