Action RPG Path of Exile launches today
Finally.
Action role-playing game Path of Exile launches today.
Grinding Gear Games' long-awaited Diablo-style free-to-play title launches on Steam and other digital platforms over the next few hours.
The 33-person New Zealand studio was founded in November 2006 and work on Path of Exile started soon after. Following today's release, it will update the game with new content every two weeks. This content will include new skills, support gems, items, microtransactions, balance changes and bug fixes.
Longer term, the plan is to release an expansion every four months that adds "substantial" new content.
