George Broussard updated his .plan stating that 3D Realms' are looking for an additional programmer for Duke Nukem Forever. This position requires some professional experience coding with the Unreal engine (Unreal Script particularly), it also requires that you have professional experience on a major 3D engine, or having shipped (or worked on) an FPS game before. I noticed over at 3D Files that Legend Entertainment have released a patch for their first-person shooter, Wheel of Time. This is an updated version of the 333 patch that was released on 1-24-00. It fixes the Movie and Music problems introduced by the original 333 patch, and fixes a crash problem when disguise was used in multiplayer games. Grab the file from 3D Files (1.5 Mb).

The SIMS, the newest creation of Will Wright's team at Maxis has hit the store shelves. Already, one of the top resources for SIMS add-ons, Mall of the SIMS has come up with a way to cheat and have unlimited money in your SIM'S bank account. Our friends at Cryo Interactive sent us word that they will now be publishing Test Drive 6. Originally the Test Drive series was developed and published by Accolade, who were taken over by Infogrames last year. It looks like Infogrames have now decided to off-load the long running driving game series though... Cryo are promising to have the game ready for release in May 2000.
