Axe of the Blood God: Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is This Fall's Sneaky Great RPG Sim

Checking in on Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, WoW: Shadowlands, and even more Fall 2020 releases.

In this week's episode of the Axe of the Blood God, we examine some of the RPGs we've missed in the midst of the console release craziness, including Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, a unique sim RPG that combines Stardew Valley, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and the joy of growing rice [download link here].

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, which launched on November 10, hit at an inopportune time, as it was quickly dwarfed by the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Yakuza, and the rest of this fall's big releases. Nevertheless, this unique new sim is worth a closer look, along with the rest of this season's slate of releases.

Also in this episode: Thoughts on The Game Awards 2020 RPG nominees; Cyberpunk's performance on current-gen RPGs, and much more!
